It was a Thursday night, a relatively cool night for May in Houston. I wandered in my SUV toward an area I didn’t know. With thousands of miles of concrete streets and highways, Houston is truly a concrete jungle. Suddenly, I braked heavily and turned around. I knew it was a good night. The sign gods had deemed it so. Isn’t it ironic?
National statistics indicate that violent crime by individuals over 18 tends to peak at 9 pm, about the time I took this image, and around 3 pm by those under the age of 18. I shat you not! (Source: Dept of Justice)
